Here is your chance to serve as Promotion and Marketing Intern with BlacFacs, This is a part-time position where you get work with and lead in the promotion and productions of BlacFacs (www.blacfacs.com).
You will work with the Third Eye Productions/BLACFACS team to help shape and drive engagement through social media for the BlaFacs platform.
The internship is especially designed to be an investment in your future as a participating student.that you will achieved the following:
- Obtained new industry experiences
- Developed new hands on skills in digital strategies and communication
- Participated in professional networking
- Enhanced your current resume
- Acquired academic credit
Requirements:
You should have participated in some marketing or promotional activity—formally or informally (i.e. through a class or through experience) You should also have some of the following:
- Interest in Black history or related fields;
- Working familiarity with various social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, twitter);
- Excellent communication skills;
- Good organizational skills;
- Interest in and sharp eye for details;
- Good “people skills”;
- Good problem solving skills;
- Be a self-starter;
- Be a high school senior or college student
Compensation and Schedule:
- $10.00 per hour; 5-10 hours per week.
- Academic credit will be awarded in accordance with the requirements of the student’s institution or academic department.
Disciplines sought:
Digital media and Communications, Public Relations, Business. Marketing, or other related fields
